Irish Breakfast Tea is a blend of hearty Assam and Sri Lankan teas that produce a rich, liquoring cup with the strength and malty flavor of the best teas of Sri Lanka. This gourmet tea is full of natural antioxidants and it has a robust, invigorating aroma that is sure to jump-start your morning; the longer you allow it to steep, the stronger it becomes. If you choose to add dairy to your tea, we recommend you serve this tea with milk (not cream). In Ireland, it is also customary to drink it straight or with a splash of lemon.

A solid morning start

This seems to be a little sterner than English Breakfast tea with a solid body and a smooth taste.

What I Was Looking

This is what I was looking for when I had purchased the English Breakfast Tea and was disappointed by it. The English Breakfast tea was more of a green tea than black, but this Irish Breakfast Tea was great. It had the malty and biscuit-like flavors that come forward with the addition of milk, and the robustness to compliment the dairy. Recommended.

Not up to standard

While I really like the loose tea and this particular flavor, the tea this time is a bit stale. The bag was not airtight which I am assuming accounts for this. I order this regularly, so I am comparing it to past orders. Just disappointed.
