Butter Rum Flavored Coffee

My husband and I often purchase new flavors in 0.5 lb bags to try them out. This flavor did not disappoint! My husband absolutely loves it. I read some previous reviews, and I just wanted to say some things about those, as an avid CoffeeAm fan. One review said the flavor wasn’t as strong as it used to be and another noted there was no date on the bag and wondered how long the coffee sat on a shelf before it was sent to them. As for the flavor(s) not being strong, I had also thought the same thing once before, BUT I quickly realized that if you shake the bag (I buy mine whole bean) it tends to remedy that. It’s almost as if once it’s sealed, some of the flavor is on the bag as well so shaking it well helps. Now to the bag with no date, again being someone who only drinks from CoffeeAm, the beans are roasted and flavored when they’re ordered. That’s always been obvious to me. This reviewer said their coffee was a Christmas gift so it’s anyone’s guess as to how long the grifter had it before it was received, but I store my beans in the freezer and freshness has never been a concern for me. Of course, these are my opinions and experiences & I’m not trying to be negative about anyone’s reviews. I just wouldn’t want anyone to be discouraged from buying an excellent coffee due to those reviews if there is a feasible explanation. ORDER & ENJOY

Tasty! but could use just a tad bit more of rum flavor. I liked this but with just a bit more rum flavor this would be excellent.

Flavoring is not as strong as it use to be. I'll see what my daughter says in a few days.

The big reason for the single star is - there is no date on the bag. I wonder how long it was sitting on their shelf before it was shipped to me. I went over the bag with a magnifying glass. What can I say, it was a Christmas gift so I'll probbly make it and drink it anyway. Just poor packaging. (My opinion)
