Add a touch of the unique to your morning routine with our newest coffee from Uganda. This intense coffee grows high on the slopes of Mount Elgon in the ancient volcanic soils, protected by shade trees. The all-women farmers who tend these coffee farms work diligently to maintain healthy growing conditions, harvesting the perfectly ripe cherries by hand, and wet-processing the beans to ensure your cup of coffee is flawless.

These Uganda coffee plants grow in idyllic conditions 5,000 feet above sea level. The coffee farms are surrounded by hot springs and crater lakes and are kept alongside bees as a biodiverse way to support the land as well as the farmers. Make a difference in more ways than one with this exceptional coffee.

A Great Full-Bodied Coffee

I really enjoyed drinking this coffee. It has a robust but not overpowering taste. It ranks up with any other African coffee I have tried.

Not very good

The bean size was widely variable, likely making roasting a challenge. Worse, there was an unpleasant aftertaste. I hope other people like these beans better than I did. I’ve had other African beans that I loved, Ethiopian and Tanzanian, for example, but didn’t love these.
