Our Direct Trade program lets you learn more about the farmers behind this exquisite coffee!

Joel and his wife own a 2-acre farm on the outskirts of Dondon Haiti, 75% of which is filled with coffee trees. In addition to his own farm, Joel also works at a local coffee tree nursery tending and managing the seedlings. The sale of this coffee allows him to manage 3 other people, and he's making plans to start his own nursery.

Francis was a physics professor in Port Au Prince. After finishing school in Miami, he went back to Haiti to use his resources and education to help others create a sustainable business for themselves. He's now the president of the co-op and runs their "Own a Tree" Program that donates coffee trees to help new coffee farmers get started.

Pierre owns a neighboring 2-acre farm, and he used to be unemployed before joining the co-op. Now, he's one of the hardest-working members in the group, and thanks to the Direct Trade program he makes enough to allow a stable and secure life for his family.

Good stuff

Judy drinks Jamaican and knows it well, she rates this highly. Maybe not quite as flavorful as the 100% Blue Mountain beans, but every bit as delicious as any of the blends we have tried. Really a 4.5 star rating. Excellent brew.

One of the previous comments stated that the Blue Mountain tasted like water, and it did brew up weak. So instead of regular grind, powder. Then it brewed up mellow and flavorful. The caffeine energy was smooth and nonjittery, and the vitamin/mineral effect was present also with stimulated mental outlook. Blue Mountain is balanced with a bit of bitter against a broad earthy almost cocoa-ey texture.

The absolute best

This is by far my favorite. The taste is so smooth and full of flavor. I am a creamer person, but I can actually drink this coffee black, no sweetener or creamer. Definitely worth the money!

Significant Disappointment!

Disappointed overall! Lack of flavor, lack of aroma.
