I have Monin pumps for all our syrups. This one does not work that well however better than pouring a huge bottle. Perhaps we got a defected one? Still less messy than trying to pour.

I know this is not a hard process: place pump in syrup and turn to the right. But if you've never seen it done, it can be messy the first time. So, if I had instructions the first time and had not made a mess and spilled some syrup the instructions would have read: Turn pump squirt to the left to "unlock", insert and turn bottom of pump onto syrup bottle. Or something of the matter. Not a huge deal but did spill and was messy.
